One of the reasons we started DICE was to protect fans and artists from touts, from software bots that hoover up an artist’s tickets the moment they go on sale, listing them on secondary sites for exorbitant prices within seconds.
A couple of weeks ago we noticed that we kept getting mentioned on Twitter off the back of a thread of tweets from You Me At Six frontman Josh Franceschi. We hit up Josh who asked us to get in touch with his band’s management.
After speaking with the team and discovering how keen they are to protect their fans and keep their tickets out the hands of touts, we’re very happy to be giving you the chance to get tickets for Doncaster, Blackburn, Newcastle, and London on DICE for the Night People tour in April.
We’re dedicated to stamping out the touts and putting fans first. We’ve signed the FanFair Alliance declaration, and are currently doing all we can to support MP Nigel Adams’ amendment to the Digital Economy Bill that would make the use of software ‘bots’ illegal.
Stay tuned to our socials for more news in the coming months about how you can do more and get involved in our fight against the touts.
