It's been four months since our first Girls Music Day at Sonos Studio, and we're back for round two on Saturday July 23rd.

Last time we heard great talks from the likes of Denai Moore, Lauren Aquilina and Steph Marziano. Check out the video below...

It was such an incredible and inspiring day, we can't wait to do it again. And we have an insane line up of speakers...

Speakers on the day will include renown headline artist Laura Marling, BBC 1Xtra DJ and club promoter Jamz Supernova, experienced PR and founder of Totem PR Naomi Williams, live production coordinator Laura Taylor from Everybody’s Management, globally adored singer-songwriter Lucy Rose, Virgin EMI Marketing Manager Helen Kennedy, Head of A&R at Method Music Jamila Scott, and sought after freelance drummer best known for her role in Metronomy, Anna Prior.

There aren’t enough women headlining festivals, running record labels, or working mixing desks, and complaining on social media won’t fix that. Instead we need positive action, and it’s a testament to our industry that so many brilliant women have offered up their time to help inspire the next generation.

The event will run from 11am to 4pm at Sonos Studio and feature talks, QnAs and tutorials covering everything from drumming to guitar, PR to A&R, and even a few on the day surprises.

Tickets are free and open to girls and women aged 14 - 24 via a ballot on DICE.
