Saturday was our first ever DICE Girls Music Day, and it was bloody brilliant.

A big thanks to Sonos Studio, everyone from DICE who helped out, and all the girls and young women who won tickets and joined us.

And to our most excellent speakers who gave up their Saturdays to get involved. You are all awesome - Clara Amfo, Denai Moore, Fern Ford, Lauren Aquilina, Orla Gartland, Jazmin Sherman, Jane Third, Claire Southwick, Steph Marziano, Iris Herscovici, Cath Hurley, and Anya Strafford.

Even as an old granny at 30, I still learnt so much. I kind of wish I could have Bill n Ted'd this and made it happen for when I was fifteen.

We'll be posting one talk a day over on our DICE Soundcloud page, kicking off with some insightful and inspiring stories from Clara Amfo who opened the morning session.

If you'd like to attend the next DICE Girls Music Day on July 23rd, then click here and sign up for a reminder. We'll notify you when the ballot opens so you can apply for free tickets.

Here's a few great shots from the day as taken by our DICE in house photographer, Victoria Koon.

We'll be announcing the next line up of speakers in the coming months, but for now don't forget to sign up for reminders, follow us on Soundcloud to listen again, and if you know any girls or young women considering a career in music - please share this post with them.
